The World Heritage city of Bath steeped in history with its new bath spas shops pubs restaurants theatre and other leisure activities are 6 miles away. Ideally located for visiting attractions such as Stourhead Longleat House and Safari Park Bowood House Glastonbury Wells Cheddar Gorge Wookey Hole and Stonehenge. Norton St Philip lies between the charming Cotswolds and Mendips with countryside dotted with idyllic towns and villages. You will also be approximately 6 miles to Frome Radstock and Trowbridge which have all the essential amenities you might require. The spacious accommodation offers FOUR bedrooms: 2 double bedrooms 1 twin and 1 small single with 3 bed (limited storage) all with far reaching views over the surrounding fields and countryside. Bathroom: with shower over bath and WC. Separate downstairs WC with belfast sink. Lounge: with open fire (first scuttle of fuel included) 32 flatscreen TV Freeview DVD hi-fi and patio doors leading to the garden. Kitchen/diner: with hob oven microwave fridge dishwasher and washing machine. Small front hall with games highchair and information leaflets. Boot room with freezer and traditional pulley clothes airer. Outside: enclosed garden with seating and BBQ. Amenities: off-road parking for 3 cars. Bed linen electric and central heating included. Towels available to hire. Two travel cots a highchair and stairgates. Regret no smoking. 2 well-behaved dogs welcome (guests are kindly asked to let them sleep in the large boot room). Additional info: good bus service to Bath and Frome. Location: good convenience store and 2 pubs a short walk away and 2 good local farm shops a short drive away.

And the best way to experience the county’s many attractions is from your base in one of our holiday cottages in Somerset. Bath has some of Britain’s most majestic Georgian architecture, as well as the famous Roman Baths (not mention great shopping). Then there’s Wells, England’s smallest city. Wandering around the cathedral close, with its unspoilt medieval lanes is like taking a step back in time. And for a real sense of mystery, there’s Glastonbury (home of the world-famous music festival), supposedly the site of King Arthur’s mythical Avalon. All await you on one of our Somerset cottage holidays. The county has more than its fair share of beach resorts too. The Grand Pier at Weston-Super-Mare is superb, as is the wide beach here, while Minehead and Burnham-on-Sea offer a choice of traditional seaside pleasures. Meanwhile, for nature lovers there’s the wild landscape of Exmoor, and the Mendip and Quantock Hills, both Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Cheddar Gorge is truly stunning. Great for real Cheddar cheese too!
